Call for Participation

Onboard entertainment is not a service provided by BahnCard 100, but rather part of the itinerary. It thrives on everyone bringing something to the table: knowledge, projects, questions, art, topics for discussion, or workshops. Together, we want to learn from one another, take new paths, explore new routes, and have a good time doing it.

Calling All Onboard Entertainers:

• Do you create art using technology, have a socially relevant topic to share, or are you working on a particularly geeky project? Great.
• Would you like to take us on a journey through your work in a talk or presentation? Excellent.
• Have you always wanted to share your knowledge or skills in a workshop? Then it’s time to get started.

Under the motto “Deep dive into new worlds”, the Chaos Computer Club Chemnitz invites you to Interfug 2025, our cosy geekend in the cultural capital of Chemnitz. This year’s Interfug will again take place at the start of the 42nd calendar week from 10 to 12 October 2025 at Lokomov.

Date: Friday - Sunday, 10 to 12 October 2025 (arrival and city tour on 10. and main Event from 11. to 12.)

As already announced, there will be on-board entertainment during our trip. Some of our fellow passengers have agreed to give talks. You can find the program in the tables below. There are also free workshop slots that you are welcome to use (=> cfp@interfug.de). You can also register for Lightning Talks on site.

If you have not yet registered, please do so, as the window seats are already fully booked and only a few seats are still available.

This year’s Interfug takes place in exactly four weeks on 12. and 13.10.2024. Our current planning status makes it necessary to change the venue at short notice. Interfug 2024 will now take place at Lokomov at Augustusburger Straße 102 in 09126 Chemnitz.

Under the motto Technikf(|l)u(g|ch) we invite you to a cozy geekend in Chemnitz at Subbotnik Lokomov to kick off the 42nd calendar week from 12 to 13.10.2024. The focus will be on the topics of media, AI and technical innovations from then and now. Not only the use of this technology, but also its influence on society will play a role. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. We hereby open the Call for Participation. You are welcome to send us your submissions by 08.09.2024 22.09.2024 at cfp@interfug.de.
