Verzögerungen im Betriebsablauf - CfP für die Interfug 2025
Call for Participation
Onboard entertainment is not a service provided by BahnCard 100, but rather part of the itinerary. It thrives on everyone bringing something to the table: knowledge, projects, questions, art, topics for discussion, or workshops. Together, we want to learn from one another, take new paths, explore new routes, and have a good time doing it.
Calling All Onboard Entertainers:
- Do you create art using technology, have a socially relevant topic to share, or are you working on a particularly geeky project? Great.
- Would you like to take us on a journey through your work in a talk or presentation? Excellent.
- Have you always wanted to share your knowledge or skills in a workshop? Then it’s time to get started.
We look forward to receiving your submission at https://talks.interfug.de/interfug-2026/cfp.
If you have any questions or are still unsure, please feel free to contact us. We especially want to encourage FLINTA individuals to reach out to us if they have any doubts—we’re happy to help you get started on the right track.
The submission deadline is September 1, 2026. Please provide a meaningful title and a brief, informative description for your talk, workshop, or art project. Presentations are scheduled for 20 or 45 minutes, and workshops for 60 or 90 minutes. We cannot yet confirm whether recordings will be made. Please let us know regardless whether you consent to a recording.
Following last year’s positive experience, the venue will once again be the Lokomov in our clubhouse. The station will remain open overnight, and a continuous supply of drinks is guaranteed.
The bar’s U-shape visually divides the space into two sections. The area with the stage serves as a “platform” for presentations, while a room on the upper floor serves as a “workshop compartment.” The rest of the bar area offers seating, and for smaller events, we can use our hackspace on the second floor.
Unfortunately, the venue is not accessible: there is no accessible restroom, no elevator, and no wayfinding system. Please let us know in advance so we can work together to find a way for you to participate.
We’re also planning city walks or a visit to a railway museum in the neighboring district for Friday afternoon—feel free to sign up for that.
We’d love your help: To keep things running smoothly, we welcome your support with planning and execution. Our train is long, winding, and sometimes runs a little late—the more people who pitch in, the smoother the schedule runs.
We welcome help with setup (e.g., decorations, hauling equipment, setting up equipment) and during the ride (e.g., hosting, supervision, coordination).
The more staff there are on board, the more punctual the train is.
